This past 4th of July held special meaning to the Wild WE team. Kate and I spent Sunday at a deployment ceremony for 100 soldiers headed to Iraq. One of them was Kate's husband, Andy.
As I stood there throughout that ceremony, I realized how grateful I was to be an American. To live in my neighborhood, have the great job I have, and the freedom to be a strong independent woman. These are liberties that not every human has, but should have. So, though I may not always agree with the decisions made by the leaders of this country, I am grateful that this is the place I call home and that those 100 soldiers are my countrymen (and women).
Look forward to connecting with you!
